In furtherance of its mission and mandate related to advancing learning experience and educational aspirations of equity-deserving students, Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. (TAYFFI) is excited to announce its Expand Your Horizon Scholarship Initiative for students from Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.

Application is now open for the Fall cohort! Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply; successful candidates will receive financial support up to $1,000.00 toward tuition payment.

Application Submission Start Date: Tuesday, November 21, 2023

Deadline for Submission: Monday December 4th, 2023 by 11:59pm CST

Eligibility Criteria:

• Self-identify as a member of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) community
• Be a citizen, permanent resident, international student, refugee, or protected person.
• Confirmation of enrolment in a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution for the Fall 2023
• Demonstrate good academic standing:
  • defined as having a cumulative average of 70% in the five most recent classes taken).
  • applicants that are enrolling in a post-secondary institution for the first time may submit grades from their most recent secondary school transcript
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to community service
• Proof of financial need (may be required to provide most recent Notice of Assessment from CRA)
