Academic Upskilling Fall Bootcamp – FREE Program!

Looking to boost your academic success this fall? We got you!

Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc. (TAYFFI), with funding support from Telus Friendly Future Foundation, is thrilled to invite immigrant/newcomer students in Grades 8 – 12 to the Future Talents Academic Upskilling Bootcamp – Fall 2025.

This is a FREE 5-week program designed to support immigrant youth, especially those new to Canadian education system with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in school and get the most out of their academics and learning experience.

Whether you are catching up or striving ahead, this bootcamp is designed to meet your academic and career preparation needs.

What We Offer:

• Academic Coaching & Tutoring in subject areas of:
  • Mathematics
  • Computer Science
  • English Language Arts: Speaking, Academic writing, Reading comprehension and Grammar
• Peer Mentorship & Guidance: Connect with positive role models and peers in a supportive learning environment.
• Career Guidance & Job Readiness: Explore future academic and career opportunities and gain real-world readiness skills.

Class Schedule:

Tuesdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Thursdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturdays: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Location: 3-320 Jessop Avenue
Dates: September 16 – October 18, 2025
Format: Hybrid (In-person and Virtual)
