Education and Social Support

The strength of a nation is in the health of its youth

  • Cross-Cultural Learning Programming: Promoting the Canadian Heritage of Multiculturalism through inter-generational, cross-cultural sharing and learning
  • Literacy Programming: Newcomer Youth Peer Club to achieve smooth transition into new community and settlement in the school system
  • Summer Youth Programming: Building new relationships between newcomer and Canadian-born youth to foster social cohesion
  • Vocational Training Program: support services for newcomer youth who exit high school before Grade 12
  • Techno-Positivity Program: Using technology for positive ends
  • Stretch Initiative: Supply of teaching/learning aid and volunteer opportunity to developing countries

We offer gateway services and support for target youth through literacy programs and scholarship opportunities, improving their ability to effectively interact with others, teamwork, co‑operation, good citizenship, and leadership skills. We also provide gateway service on specialized training and support initiative for youth with identified problems, barriers or challenges, such as learning disabilities or attention deficit disorders.
