2022 Black History Month Commemoration
Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc invites members of Saskatoon diverse Black communities and the public the 2022 Black History Month commemoration under the umbrella theme Black Health and Wellness.
Over the years, Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc has hosted month-long Black History celebrations each February, showcasing Black excellence and addressing age-long social issues requiring lasting solutions.
In concert with local reality in Greater Saskatoon Metropolitan Area, the 2022 Black History Month Planning Committee with membership drawn from diverse Saskatoon Black communities and walks of life, has identified “STRONGER TOGETHER” as our local theme with a lineup of virtual events/activities connecting both the umbrella theme and our local theme.
This year’s event will engage Government-level representatives and erudite Black academic/subject matter experts in Saskatoon, and nationally. All events will be delivered virtually in consideration of COVID-19.

- Saturday, February 26, 2022 | Time: 3.00pm – 5.00pm CST | Virtual Symposium: Stronger Together

Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc is a conduit for Saskatoon Black Canadian Alliance Network – a working group comprising Afro-Caribbean membership with a focus on improving social, health, political, and economic outcomes of Black individuals and families in the Greater Saskatoon Metropolis.
