Gift Madojemu MPH (Health Coordinator – Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc.)
Gift is currently a medical student at the University of Saskatchewan. She received her BSc. Biochemistry and Master of Public Health, from Benson Idahosa University, Nigeria and Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador respectively. Prior to medical school, Gift worked in Indigenous Health as a Health Promotion Specialist/ Tobacco Project Coordinator, with Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre, North Battleford, SK for almost 4 years.
She has a passion for health and wellness, with a huge focus on population health care. She enjoys working primarily with youth, women’s health, marginalized population groups and other demographics as required. Her work has spanned across commercial tobacco reduction, HIV/AIDS and adolescent reproductive health care, disease/injury prevention and other health promotion activities.
She brings her experience in health promotion and working with youth and other demographics to TAYFFI. Her knowledge, passion and energy make her an indefatigable team player and a gift to those she meets.
